Walker Metalsmths is the Celtic artistry of Stephen Walker and family. Begun as a full time business in 1984 in the Walker's home town of Andover, NY. In the early years most customers discovered the Walker's work at arts festivals and craft fairs. Beginning in the early 1990s the Walkers began selling their Celtic rings by direct mail order through magazines such as Ireland of the Welcomes. The Highlander and Smithsonian Magazine. In 1997 the workshop was opened up to the public with a permanent showroom storefront.
